BB on defending against the "draw DPI" technique

New England players are, by now, quite aware of Jumpin' Joe's little games. As in anything else on the field, the key will be execution. If the Patriots execute well, then they'll win. If they don't, then they won't.

I suspect that Coach Belichick will also have a few words with the officials today regarding Flacco's little games as well as keeping an eye on Suggs. Suggs, I have noticed, takes an interest in seeing how much he can get away with, including cheap shots to the head of a linesman as he's going by, and running into the QB then throwing up his hands as if he's trying to avoid contact.

I'll be right interested to see how the officials call this game.

There is really no point in listening to a BB press conference or even asking a question of him. When 98.5 goes to the BB presser, I switch. BB has accomplished his missions.

The Big Show, back when it existed, used to get something out of him when the two Big Galuts, the Pinky Packyderm and Freddy Smerlas, used to rib him, but other than that, forget it.

There is one type of question BB will occasionally answer and that are historical football questions.

Just watched the press conference. It was Tom E. Curran asking. You can go here and see it. Starts around the 20:00 mark.
I could tell just from reading the exchange it was Curran. I like Curran. He often gets into silly back-and-forth with BB, knowing ahead of time it's going to sound silly but always hoping to catch BB with his guard down.
