That's because you're cherry picking the adjustments a bit. When you consider that he's been a higher priority target with Edelman missing time and Amendola being banged up, that drives him further 'off'.

That's true of course, but it also means increased scrutiny from the defense.

Edit: I don't think there's any question that he hasn't performed as well as last year, even allowing for various difficulties. I just think it's reasonable to expect (if he makes it to the off season without any new injuries) that he would return to basically the same form he displayed last year.
