What I like most about Coach Belichick is that he almost always remains poised, calm & in charge. He's always coaching, always thinking ahead.

As I (and others, I'm certain) have commented, Belichick is playing Chess while everyone else is playing checkers.

It kind of makes me inclined to think that the world of football is essentially a kind of `good ole' boys` club where people get these jobs more for just being in the business than for having any real serious ability. I suppose there isn't a massive list of people on this planet that know the first thing about running a football team, but there is a huge leap between, say, a Jason Garrett and a Bill Belichick.

I suspect a lot of people are head coaches just because they were in line, and have been around the business long enough to know how to run an NFL practice, training camp, etc.

BB seems very base line, good and bad he doesnt have the peaks and valleys that smith and fisher have.

Fisher was reacting like a gambler finally hitting it big so when it falls apart he just DROPS and that has to be a moral hit on his team.

SMith was similar but not as bad.

I watched the different vids. I was going to say that Fisher reminded me of Cliff Claven, but I didn't want to insult Cliff..

The one of Smith actually was disappointing.. With how well he's done in Atlanta, I thought he'd be more poised than that.. Clearly, I gave him too much credit.

Everyone calls Tom "Tommy". You know who is friends with him in the media by who calls him Tommy and who calls him Tom. Tom always says his father is "Tom" and he is "Tommy".

Of course it's a term of endearment. I like that Tom, Belichick and Kraft are like a football family.
The two people I've known named Tom were only ever called "Tommy" by their mom, which is why I get a kick out of it.

This is why BB is a god. I was so pissed about how poorly the Pat's offense was playing, and there is BB congratulating them for "grinding it out". Puts things in perspective and gives you insight into BB's mind and thought process, and shows you how much of a moron I am.

Pretty sure he was simply a made up persona meant to troll people. That said, the author's writing style and bizarre use of logic is pretty distinctive yet eerily similar to a couple of other "posters".
