Bet you he's not. Belichick is not going to cut what is obviously a complete veteran punter with a trebuchet for a kicking leg because he completely outkicked the coverage going into the wild card round. The man averaged nearly 47 yards a punt kicking off a wet beach. Cutting him would be rash and un-Belichickian.

In fact I'll put my avatar where my mouth is. If Sauerbrun gets cut this week, my avatar gets cut for the next.

On that particular punt, I was saying, just before the kick. "Kick it out of bounds" and I thought that if therfe is any blame to hand out, it should go to the Special teams coach for not making it perfectly clear to Sauerbrun that he MUST kick it out of bounds, no exception made.

Now, if he was told that, and he still kicked it in the field of play, then he deserved to be hollered at by BB.

We really dont know the circumstance, but in any case, ther ST coach should have ordered an "out of bounds" kick and maybe he did.
