My son came home from China yesterday and we're hoping to make a Pats practice or two. These will be our first practices and I was hoping to get some help on the best way to go about it and what we can or cannot bring. Thanks.

The Pat's will b conducting joint practices with both the Saints n Bears. These will b held the next two week. I know next weeks practices with the Saints will b Monday, Tuesday n Weds. I'm not sure about the Bears but I'm thinking it'll b the same schedule. And if the same as in years past, they'll b in the afternoon. I've gone down the last 2-3 years on Tuesdays n they've been great!
Everything is free.. Parking entrance seats etc. it's really good

IF you were inclined to bring binoculars, they are OK, but you simply cannot bring the case they are stored in. I lost my case last year at the gate.

Thanks Tamerlin, Jokar, burn in hell and stare at the ceiling for life. Useless pos's.

Being your first time, you really cannot go wrong, if you want an autograph, on sit close to the front center in the bleachers, BB usually has a couple of draftee sign autographs

SPF45, a hat and cash to buy water and beers afterwards is critical.

There is a published list on the team's site of the cans and can'ts

Sunscreen, lots of it. I am burnt to a crisp. Great time though.

The Pats and bears will practice monday and tuesday next week, these will be the best practices of the summer. If you can not make those times, check for photos of the previous day practices, If they are in shorts and helmets, that is great, that means the next day will be full contact. Practice starts at 9:15 an runs for a couple of hours. If there are more than two of you make sure you get there 1/2 hour early or it will be difficult to get a bunch of seats together. Head for the bleachers, at the end of the hot dog/Saugage tent is the 20 yard line. go up those stairs and get a seat. This is the end of the field where they do the goal line short field work. Probably 50% of all the 7 on 7 and 11 on 11 take place right there.

Before the sausage tent there is a PFW weekly tent where you can get a roster for free and a copy of PFW for a buck. I always bring binoculars as there are two fields and sometimes some very interesting work is on the other field almost 100 yards away.

Water is $4 so are the dogs. Sausage and Hamburgs are cheaper than what they are stadium game day .
The sun beats on you so a hat is needed. If kids go, get them each a white pennant at another tent! and a sharpie for autographs. Every day one position group stays and signs and if the kids are lucky a couple of other guys may join them.

I have been going to camps since they were at Bryant and Chuck Fairbanks was the coach.

This cannot be overstated. It's an absolute must, even on overcast days. Bring plenty of liquid as well. Grab the most updated program flyer so you can match up numbers with names.
