He has what sounds like a pretty severe ankle sprain. Why not do what houston did to us with Merciles on Andrews?

Lineup flowers on some downs over the center and specifically that bad ankle he pushes off on? Im sure Branch will wear him down to and some Hitower inside blitzes.

Anyone have stats on where flowers has lined up.. how much on inside?

Not sure what percent he lines up inside but I think all but 1 of his sacks this year where from the inside.

When healthy Mack is one of best in the league. However, with this ankle injury, this situation will need to b closely monitored

I would expect DL stunts and LBs hitting the A gap with deceptive looks. Our pressure can be configured in so many different ways. Matt Ryan and the oline can see a "typical" defensive front used one way for a few plays and then have rushers and coverages completely change on a whim. The versatility of the front 7 is amazing, same with Logan Ryan's ability to pressure when called upon.

Just enough moving pieces to keep Matt Ryan and the oline accountable to making good accurate reads against the defense and then executing against the given coverage. They will be looking for this obviously so our execution as a cohesive unit will be key.

I think our communication is great, I'm not sure who the green dot on defense has been these last few games (IIRC, Van Noy V Miami, was possibly delegated for benefit of increased perspective?) but it looks like all of the units are getting on the same page in real time very well.

I would test it, but I would not build a game plan around it

just let Branch and Brown take turns crushing the pocket

Interesting. Jones hasn't been affected by his hurt toe, but Mack's injury could be significant.
