Well, didn't he do that in his press conference for the world to hear? Sure sounded like it And I think that was a HUGE reason he was let go.

Well I don't see anything wrong with speaking the truth.

Ha, yeah, I enjoyed his press conference because I completely agreed with it.

I can only imagine the smoke coming out of Chilly's ears.

I love how when he was asked about it like a half hour before the waiver news broke, Chilly said he had no regrets about acquiring Moss "at the present time."

Chilly must really live moment to moment.

Steve Burton et. al. said that early this year at a Pats event to honor sponsors Moss was assigned to the Raytheon table. Left the table, sat in the corner face to the wall tuned out with his ubiquitous earphones on. Was asked (by BB?) to return to the table and ignored all entreaties.

I highly doubt it was BB that asked him to return, that wouldn't make sense to me. Burton was definitely not sitting at the Raytheon table and I doubt he actually heard anything that was said TO Moss. The wording of "face to the wall" is a little peculiar as I suspect they were round tables so he may have just been at a table in a seat that wasn't facing the podium. Another note is that in order to -know- Moss was not paying attention for any substantial period of time, that party would have to be NOT paying attention themselves (i.e. paying attention to Moss). I'm sure Burton reported what he saw/knew but also in a way that indicates his impression and not all the facts. I don't doubt he saw something and there may be an issue there but the way Kraft seemed to get along with Moss after the fact would indicate to me that it was never a big issue.

If the PC was indeed a "HUGE" reason he was let go, that only points to Childress being more of an idiot than we suspect. That PC is nowhere near grounds for cutting a valuable member of the team.

It is time for Dr. Nut to put in his .02 on all of his.

It is my considered opinion that Randy has been going through, a bit of a "reality bites crisis", for some months now.

please continue.

And oh BTW, I heard on WEEI that Randy did not fly back to MN with the team. Instead he stayed in New England.

What does this mean? What does this mean?

His family is still here.

Ha, I just saw Reality Bites the other day.

I think things are tough for Randy right now. I hope he is OK wherever he ends up.

Damn it! You didn't have to say that. It would have been good for 5 more pages of speculation and opinion.

Apparently he had permission from the Vikes to stay behind. According to PFT this is pretty normal for players who have been traded since they do a lot of finalizing personal matters they couldn't attend to.

Boat? What boat? The saying is "jumped the shark", it comes from the episode of Happy Days where Fonzie jumped over a shark on his surfboard. There's no boat.

well for all intensive purposes, there is a boat.

More detail that doesn't reflect well on making excuses for Randy in this instance.
Burton and others said that Randy got up and LEFT the table, took a chair over by the wall, faced the wall, put on his earphones, tuned everyone out and ignored repeated requests by numerous Pats people (BB? Kraft?) to return to the table.

I think Chilly dealt with Moss's criticism of him the way he wishes he could deal with Favre. In the end, Chilly made "an example" out of nothing. Randy was barely there, the Vikes weren't great with or without him.

I bet Chilly was getting so oversensitive to criticism about his lack of dealing with Favre and decided to place that aggression elsewhere.

According to Dale and Holly, he did not have permission and just told Chilly that he was staying.

If you cannot beleive what you hear on WEEI, then what can you beleive?

Ha ha ha. PFT I guess. :ugh:

Chilly said Moss had permission, but I suppose it's possible that that means that Moss just told him straight up. Hard to say if you weren't there. :confused2:

Doesn't this remind you of the there was/was not a "confrontation on the plane" days?

Seems like yesterday. Probably because it practically was.

I heard he didn't want to get on that plane because of the snakes.

Have I seriously still read posts defending this selfish loser?

Anonymous internet poster thinks he is less of a selfish loser than wealthy football star, news at 11.

I mean, how dare anybody not like the catering and refuse to talk to the same media that ****s on him on a regular basis. The nerve!
