Kooky question, I know, but my husband and I are traveling there for 10 days and will be in St. Petersburg when the Pats play Buffalo next week. Would love to watch the game, if I can. Thanks for any help you can give!

The Gulag?
Actually, if you have NFL Sunday Ticket, you can watch the games online.
I havent tried it out yet.
If you have internet access, even if you don't have a directv, I would assume you would only need a friend to give you login info????????

Check with the hotel desk if it is a reasonably high-end hotel. Otherwise, call the US embassy or US consulate. If you ahve a travel agent he or she should be able to find out for you.

If you have a decent internet connection you will get a HD broadcast with very little stuttering issues. A poor connection will still allow the game to be watchable. I use this every week, it is excellent.
I think your best bet is the internet, if available. I'd have to believe that finding a bar in Russia with American football on TV is going to be almost impossible.
Myp2p.eu has always worked pretty well for me. Click on the forums link and then look for the NFL/UFL/CFL section. Justin.tv is pretty decent, too.

If you couldn't guess by my screen name, I have some ye olde Russkiy, but I also know that you can find just about whatever you want in Russia if you're willing to look in the right places.
Seriously though, you've been given some good advice. St. Pete is a bit more provincial than Moscow, but you should still not have too many problems finding what you need.
