If he had a concussion, then he should not have been let back on the field. It did not look like he had a concussion, but rather got mangled and twisted up. Edleman had a lot of hits like that but popped back up. Amendola, however, is not in good shape like Edleman; I don't know where he spent the offseason but it was not in the weight room like Edleman.

He still could have worked out before and in a limited fashion afterwards. And it is not just this season that he looks soft and puffy.

I agree. I figured he was done for the day. I'm sure he just 'got his bell rung' though since they have all these concussion rules in place.

Amendola didn't do much besides that 1st down completion, but he took some shots for the team. At least he didn't just vanish. I'll give Amendola an E for effort this week.
