Since Kraft is labeling WW's Denver Welker contract a 1 year 6 million guaranteed contract and claiming the NE two year offer was better, .......
Isn't it correct to claim Amendola's NE contract is essentially a two year $12 million contract with $10 mill guaranteed, an added million of 2014 salary and roster bonuses/game that max out at another million. Sure, NE gets a few million in cap savings right now... but at the possible expense of less production?
I'm still having trouble believing that NE offered WW an "above market" contract when the reality is WW was valued at equal or less than DA. To me, NE valued cap savings over production and the DA contract saves them a couple mill....enough to sign a whole stable of ponies.
