Adrian needs 4.5 sacks and 3 INTs to join the 30/30 club (the only other two members being Rodney Harrison and Ray Lewis.) His production statistically has dropped off in the last couple of years. But he is close. Will he become a member as a Patriot?

I think he can get the picks, but I'm not sure about the sacks. Maybe BB will send more safety blitzes with him, he's obviously better at it than Gregory

Pretty sure he had 3 or 4 sacks last year but even still 4.5 is a lot for a db. I would like to think he easily has three picks left in him.

With us not sure depends on his role. If he is a 3 down safety playing deep a lot he won't get 4.5 sacks. If he is the big nickel sacks would be more likely.

I think if the signing works out he gets there easy. If its not the best match he still could go elsewhere and if he really hung on just to do it he could.

My prediction: he is a beast here and joins the club this year. 4 INTs and 5 sacks.

Could care about records; stay healthy, provide leadership to the d backfield and cover tight ends..

Yes he averages 2 sacks a season and 2+ interceptions a season so I believe he will do it no problem.

Ronde Barber has a better chance of getting their first, assuming somebody signs him.

Currently at 47 picks and 28 sacks (49/29 if you include playoffs).

How many sacks do Patriots safeties have over the past five years or so? Doesn't seem like very many, off the top of my head.

Tampa GM says they have a open offer for his return. Probably close to min.

The safety blitz seems to have been taken out of the playbook.
Probably due to lack of faith in rest of the DBs ability to cover I suppose.

Sacks by defensive backs in recent years:
2012: 1 (Derrick Martin)
2011: 1 (Patrick Chung)
2010: 1 (Devin McCourty)
2009: 2 (Patrick Chung, 2)
2008: 3.5 (Brandon Meriweather, 2; Ellis Hobbs, 1.5)
2007: 3 (Rodney Harrison, 2; Ellis Hobbs, 1)

Wow, thanks. Yeah, they just haven't sent 'em much.

Or a lack of confidence in the Safeties to actually blitz effectively. Wilson may give BB that confidence given his track record of success with it.

Plus I think Wilson will see a lot of snaps as a LB in nickel and dime packages.
