I gave it a go when it came out but yea, way too cheesy/Hallmark bs. Didn't get into it and probably won't watch again, although the Gronk clip is hilarious. The BB stuff is pretty cringey IMO

Maybe AH tried that! Then got looked at with a crooked look and then he the thing he did with those what, 3 dudes total? Pissed him off to no end and shot em. I jest. Used that “colloquialism” because I feel that a dude like AH, who thought he was a hard G, would say something like that, trying to be tough/manly (denial) about it. Hopefully didn’t offend you or anyone else with its use. . Last thing I’d want here.

In defense of this scene, I just listened to the episode of Edelman’s podcast with Jon Bon Jovi. Belichick is/was a huge fan, to the extent he went on tour with them for some European shows. Bon Jovi also said Belichick had an interest in and a little talent as drummer. It’s believable that he would have listened to Bon Jovi at work and tapped along to the beat with a pencil. Would it have looked quite that way? I don’t know.

Apparently there's a good reason the guy playing GRONK did a good job with the mannerisms, even if he doesn't look like him much at all. . . .

He and Gronkowski have been friends for over a decade, and he's been Gronkowski's body double.

Two even weirder facts:
1. He was on Worst Cooks in America. He made it about halfway through.
2. Next month, he will play a character not-so-loosely based on Travis Kelce and his relationship with Taylor Swift.
