The Associated Press reports the New York Jets have signed CB Artrell Hawkins (Patriots). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Hawkins did a good job for us while he was here, but he is a JAG as Parcells likes to say. Let the Jets have him. I'm happy for Artrell to see him employed.

Why do people on this board talk trash about ex-Patriots players? Hawkins was RELEASED by the Pats, he played hard when he was here, so why talk trash? Are you mad because he signed with the Jets? Did you expect him to turn down a pro football contract because its not with the Pats? Sheeeesh.

think thats it...for now. potentially booker or thomas coming too, so i would say there is a definate "trend" here

Well, Eckel was a Patriot before he was a Dolphin, and didn't play a game with the Dolphins.
