rings or no rings he's not a first ballot hall of famer and a big part of that is because he has said many times he dose not love the game of football he mostley played to make money and help he's family

Similar things have been said by a lot of other Hall of Famers. But it's hard to believe with Curtis because he made tens of millions and kept playing. How much did Barry Sanders love football? I can think of several others. Eric ****erson is another.

I don't care what team he played for, not getting this guy into the HOF on his first try is a travesty. He is a victim of his own soft-spoken personality. He is everything people claim they want an athlete to be, but instead loud mouth a-hole Deion Sanders, the most overrated player in the history of the NFL, gets in.

I agree with the author. Martin belongs in the Hall, sooner rather than later.

curtis martin going to the jets is part of a series of events that led to the eventual firing of pete carroll and the hiring of bill belichik. chances are that if martin stays with the pats, that carroll would have gotten another year from Kraft, and Belichik would have become the coach of the Jets.
