B/R top 100 big board:

Zakee Wheatley at 23. Kage Casey 59

Again, lots of variance between rankings.
I was just about to post this one. I actually think it's quite believable. It should be noted that Brandon Thorn is responsible for the OL grades.

Other interesting ones:

Cashius Howell - 10
Dillon Thieneman - 15
Malik Muhammed - 26
David Bailey - 34 (yes please)
Emmanuel Pregnon - 45
Keon Sabb - 52 ( One for @BobDigital )
Zion Young - 53
Jyaire Hill - 66
Carter Smith - 68 (finally some recognition)
Isaiah Glasker, LB - BYU (someone I need to pay attention too. Has been getting some hype of late)
Eli Raridon - 79 (Another one for Bob)
John Henry Daley - 80
Marlin Klein - 93

They are a lot more bullish on the TEs than anyone else. They're very high on the safeties too.

It's a very interesting top 100.

They also had Makai Lemon at 32, and Chris Bell at 35.

But they also have Arch Manning and Kade Klubnik on their list.

There are likely to around 150 good players in this draft, as far as I can tell. There will be a lot of variance in prospect evals. I think some real talent will be available on day 3.

Arch Manning at 60. Wut?

Yeah, that one makes me suspicious.

Not really any individual player thoughts... more so thoughts on this draft as i've slowly learned more about it. Still have a lot to learn compared to Mayo, Manx and co. But these are big picture thoughts and ideas.

#1 I like this draft. I don't know yet how i feel about round 1 as a whole. Is it a great top of the draft (top 10) or round 1? No idea yet. But i think i really like rounds 2-5 this year. I don't think they are amazing/generationally good, but everyone has talked up the depth of this class. From the little i have looked at, they are right too.

#2 I want to grab a QB in this draft on day 3 the more i think about it (If it falls that way). I know we have Maye... and this may push it off as not a concern. But we know he plays risky. I don't like Dobbs. Tommy is a maybe and interesting... but there is a very good chance someone who is VERY interesting could be there in round 4 or even 5. This looks like a DEEP QB draft and we know after the QB needy teams pick their guys... the rest can fall REALLY far as GMs are desperate for short term gains and not looking long term often. If someone is there that we like with our late 4th round pick... I know we have other needs... but locking down a back up QB we REALLY like considering Maye's play style wouldn't be a bad idea. Plus there is nothing saying if Maye goes down a few game and that back up shows REALLY well we can't trade him for value down the line potentially and get more for the pick than we spent on it. But only if it makes sense with the player and fit. It is something i think that requires very strong consideration. It sucks to use a quality pick on someone you hope never plays. But it is also part of building the key depth of your team at times.

#3 While depth is needed everywhere... Safety to me is the biggest issue on this team right now IMO. We have Woodson and then absolutely no one. This seems like a strong safety class... and it would be a crime to leave the first 4 rounds without addressing it.

#4 Pass rusher is something i think worths waiting on this year till late. There is a lot of interesting day 3 depth at that position from a glance.

#5 I don't love the OL depth this year on a glance. Maybe we can find an interesting kid in the 6th or 7th as a project who may surprise... but rounds 4/5? I'm not convinced. To me this is a day 1-2 consideration... But do they need to double dip again this year? Considering how they line has look, they may not be as desperate as we thought. So take a shot early OT or IOL... can't go wrong either way... I would probably prefer IOL next year, but as long as they can add a quality body that is a win. I don't think as of now they are in such a state where another early double dip is absolutely needed.

#6 Not really a this year thought... more of a big picture draft thought. The NFL hasn't had what i consider to be a weak WR class since 2018. Every other class since (including this years i think) has been in one way or another really solid. Either great depth, or tons of first round talent. i don't think this is just 'how it has gone'. College has become an incredibly effective WR producing machine in the past 7 years. So while i am still on board with picking WR early... I don't worry about missing the boat and not getting a chance to next year. Recent history has shown this likely won't be the case.

That's it for now... Wish i had thoughts on LB and CB... But i don't nearly know enough about those spots yet to have even vague notions. Get back to me in a few months maybe : P

1. I think the depth is OK but it hasn't wowed me. It's weak at DT (that's fine) and CB, RB and EDGE aren't great. LB is awesome as is safety by the looks of it. WR is great at the top, less strong after round 2. So far anyway.

2. I think we're better off with a veteran to be honest. It would still be useful for Maye to have a more experienced head to rely on. Who that is though, I'm not sure. I have a draftee I really like but I'm not sure they go there. My guess is they keep Dobbs.

3. Agreed 100%. There seems to be a number of very good day 2 safeties.

4. Only if they re-sign Chaisson. Otherwise I think it's our biggest need by far along with safety.

5. You can argue they need a C/LG, a RG and maybe a RT. Whether that comes through FA or the draft, it's not unreasonable to suggest we need to add 3 OL this off-season. I think we've identified a number of interesting day 2/early day 3 prospects.

6. Agreed sadly. I really like this class in the first two rounds, but as things stand, we have Boutte, Pop, Diggs and Hollins as key receivers next year with Chism and Williams supporting them. There really isn't a roster spot available right now without changes being made.

7. Excellent thoughts.

Agreed. This is a great draft to build out solid starters and depth. It happens to be particularly deep some of our greatest areas of need.

You may well be right. This is an opportunity area for me, mire than a need, but if someone interesting falls, I'd be game. I would love to see how Josh McD does developing a talented understudy, might give us an asset for down the road.

#3 While depth is needed everywhere... Safety to me is the biggest issue on this team right now IMO. We have Woodson and then absolutely no one. This seems like a strong safety class... and it would be a crime to leave the first 4 rounds without addressing it.

No question.

#4 Pass rusher is something i think worths waiting on this year till late. There is a lot of interesting day 3 depth at that position from a glance.

This class has a top 4 for me and then a big drop off, so it's either early or late. I would include some LB/EDGE hybrids as well.

#5 I don't love the OL depth this year on a glance. Maybe we can find an interesting kid in the 6th or 7th as a project who may surprise... but rounds 4/5? I'm not convinced. I disagree with you here. The top end is weak, but the OL depth is absurd, 25-30 prospects who I think could be major contributors.

Agreed on WR. Good class, good depth. Opportunity area, but the WR pipeline is not going to run dry anytime soon.

@manxman2601 @mayoclinic

To answer questions/comments.

I assume they will extend Chaisson when i said wait on pass rush potentially. If they don't then Obviously a huge need. (Also i am not giving up on Ponder/Swinson maybe coming on late yet).

As for my OL thoughts. I am right now working under the assumption Onwenu will be here next year on a extension. If not that changes things... Do i love him? No. But for the right price I'm okay with what he brings. I know some players have huge problems taking pay cuts, but he has to know he was lucky to get that contract. No one will pay him like an RT again. He gets guard money and not top of the line whether he plays here or not. Take the extension here or take a similar contract somewhere else. If we do cut him nothing stops us from getting similar production on the same price in the FA market. At this point I also think they should consider not cutting Bradbury heading into next year. I had him as a 1 year rental, and it is early but so far under this scheme and coaching he is doing okay. So i have them keeping the those 5 or subbing in an equally good FA for Onwenu for the same price an extension would have cost anyway.

So my line next year looks like this... Campbell-Wilson-Bradbury-Onwenu(or equal FA)-Moses.. With Bryant and Brown as back ups. I don't see the need to add 2 more high end rookies if that is the case. Get a future starter to push he interior/Moses this year and another interesting back up. While i am okay with a young line. I don't want to make it too young too fast either.

Another top 100 list, just for comparison:

Those one has Ty Simpson at 35 and Arch Manning at 43. Lol.

If Ty Simpson were on the board when the Pats picked, I'd ask for a 2027 1st just to trade back a few spots.

Interesting to compare with a month ago, and for the future.

I am more aligned with Jordan Reid's evaluations, overall.

Really interesting lists. Going to have to give them some thought but I lean towards Kiper and Reid. That’s based on a very quick scan though.

Miller seems to be a bit of an outlier. Interested to learn more about his takes.

No Zakee Wheatley, Jelani McDonald or Julian Neal. No Austin Sievereld. Will be interested to see how things change.

Clint Goss top 20:

Not included:

- EDGE David Bailey
- OL Kadyn Proctor
- CB Jermod McCoy

McDonald is a true junior with less than a full season of starting experience. My guess is that no-one is anticipating he declares.

I don't know who this guy is, but I think we're in-sync on the interior OL. The two Logan's (Jones snd Taylor) might be my preffered choice for the interior OL this year. At the very least, Logan Taylor with experience across the OL (except center) would be a quality backup.
