You don't go to the Kentucky derby with donkeys. His pride in just trying to focus on East coast kids to recruit was his undoing. You got to go deep South to get the thoroughbreds.
I recently heard a wild story from Coach O on when he lost out of Adrian Peterson because he could not get his dad transferred to a Prison in California so he can watch his kid on local TV. I say this to say that the recruitment game is on another level.

I don't think the LSU temporary HC will be made permanent. LSU have been shambolic. At least their offense has been. The defense is pretty good and the secondary excellent.
