I think Hines is in. Hurwitz claims it’s confirmed, but it was looking likely even before that with every other guard prospect released other than Durant, who hasn’t been in the discussion much in recent weeks.

Woah, released Ferentz too? That means the rookie Hines is the only backup Guard?? They keep Cajuste, Herron, Durant and Hines as backups? That's risky. I have to believe Ferentz comes back on PS, along with Russey & Sherman (if they make it past waivers).
And, surprised they roll with just 2 TE's. I also think Sokol & Asiasi are PS candidates, and even 1 back on the 53 once Thornton, Wilkerson & Monty go on short term IR.

DMC, Phillips, Dugger, Peppers, Bledsoe & technically C. Davis & Schooler.

Didn’t realize Anderson got hurt again. And is going to spend another full season on our IR, again….

As for Wilkerson, I suspect if they thought he’d contend for a roster spot, they would have kept him and IR’d him tomorrow so he could be designated for return. And someone like Carl Davis would have been cut instead and then resigned tomorrow since he doesn’t have to clear waivers.
