The Patriots have employed a system, defensively, that allows for teams to move the football, run a lot of plays and tighten up in the red-zone to force field goal attempts. My thinking is that it is Bill Belichick’s thought that, “we’re going to make you run a perfect drive with no mistakes, and if you can do that consistently for 60 minutes, you’ll win. However, our offense is too good to be stopped so when I say perfect, I mean perfect.” How many offenses are good enough to do this, two, maybe three?
