Free agent targets I would like to see:
OFFENSE
#4 wide receiver - possession guy, great hands, dependable third-down receiver, don't need to pay for premium speed or size.
DEFENSE
#3/4 ILB - experienced vet, a la Roman Phifer/Junior Seau (or, of course, Chad Brown or Monty Beisel, proving it is a crap shoot) to play behind Mayo/Guyton/?Bruschi. Not a premier Bart Scott, but someone much cheaper.
#1B CB - not a $10mm/year guy like Asomugha or Dunta Robinson, if they reach free agency, but a solid starter like Jabari Greer or Courtland Finnegan that might cost $6-7mm/year (which might be optimistic if those end up being the top available guys in free agency if the top tier are all re-signed). This would be far and away the top target in free agency.
At safety, I'd like to see them target someone like Taylor Mays in the draft.
With all the picks and returning starters this year, hopefully they won't need as many free agents as in some recent years.
