I was pulling for the eagles today, and I said I would not mind them in the super bowl.. But then 2 words come to mine while Im rooting for Arizona

I guest it doesn't really matter at this point, since the Pats move up one spot in the draft anyways, but I really don't care who wins between the iggles and the cards. I just don't have much distaste for either team.

I might root for Arizona...but the Eagles are also owned by Jeff Lurie from Boston....don't care about Specter he'll be gone in a few years..and just embarrasses himself with his dumb points of view..

Now that the Giants are out, I'm rooting unconditionally for the NFC in the Super Bowl. I hate all six AFC teams for different reasons.

I will pull for the Cardinals next week, but wouldn't mind the Eagles since they probably have a better chance of beating whatever team comes out of the AFC.

As for Spector, I don't think he really gives a crap about the Eagles, only about sucking up to their fans to earn votes.

Edit - If there's ANY reason to root against the Eagles, it's so that we don't have to hear all the rubbish about how we should have kept A$ante.

rooting for the eagles is like the bills. you feel kind of bad for them always coming up short. regardless of their fans i've liked andy reid and the team

Me? It's the fans-too bad I have to put up with them for another week.

As for the Eagles over the Cards being a "slam dunk", don't bet on it-the Cards are running the ball alot better, they have the Fitz/Bolden duo, and their defense is also playing inspired ball.

I came into the play offs not rooting for anyone, just rooting against the Giants, Colts, and Steelers, now that theres 2 down one to go I'm just rooting for anyone who plays the steelers although in the superbowl I'll be rooting for the nfc

Not really, they are 300 miles away. Philly is closer to NY, Baltimore ,Wash, and it's equidistant to NE. Put Philly and Pitt in the Super Bowl and then ask Senator Comcast which team he supports...........Dallas and the Giants are much bigger rivals..

I'm rooting for Mcnabb now.Forget Spector.The guy has been through so much.He's still standing strong.With my Pats being out I'm rooting for the Eagles.My gut is telling me that there will be a Pittsburgh vs Philadelphia SB.Who knows?The Ravens could prove other wise.

I will be rooting for the Eagles. I don't have anything against the Cardinals, but McNabb deserves a ring for all the crap he's had to deal with and still play at a high level. Also, the owner is a Boston guy and unlike other fans, I'm not bitter towards Asante and I hope he plays well.

I don't think anyone could convince me that it would be good to see Asante Samuel pick six for the Eagles and win a SB when all he had to do was catch a ball that was thrown to him last year.

Plus it would be cool if the Cards win after we beat them by 40 less than a month ago!

Wouldn't it be cool if the Cards won it all for Pat Tillman? Ironic how not too long ago, Tillman was a hero for what he did(passed over million$$ to fight for our freedom), which was only one of the very few bright spots for this once downer organization. How fitting it would be if the Cards hold up that Lombardi next month.
