Obviously the Pats need a punter. I think them dropping Scott says that Harrison is ready to return.

It will be interesting to see if the Pats sign an ILB like Cowart or Huff or if they go an entirely different direction that will come out of the proverbial LEFT FIELD.

Did you stop to think that they dropped Scott because Rodney is healthy and they need the roster spot for another position?

From where I stand, they don't cut Scott if Rodney isn't able to play.

true, but it could also mean he is going back to the practice squad like BB does every week. last week was more of a passing team, this week a running team with WR with bad hands

I assume Rodney is close and that rumors were he would dress this week but nothing is confirmed yet, so I refuse to speculate - sorry for the misunderstanding

Rodney was upgrade last week and I think he will play this week.

The Pats just re-signed James Patrick to the Practice squad, but also signed Tom Malone , a punter. The Pats could dump Malone or Baugher and re-sign Scott, but who knows.
