Alan Branch pressure on 3rd and 1 stop before the GW drive. Like Reiss said..he played BIG on that played when we needed it the most.

DA catch before the Cooks GW TD

That DA catch was almost as clutch as the Cooks catch..they don't get that..and it's 4th and 18

About time that Branch started earning his money. Still, it was just one play made during an entire game of plays that weren't made.

I would've been all over Ahtyba Rubin after Seattle released him, and before the feckin donkeys signed hm.

not worthy of a top two clutch play, but the Brady flick to Gronk while almost getting sacked turned out to be a sneaky important play.......why?.......because the failed challenge cost the Texans a time out they desperately could have used at the end

Probably not top 2 of the game but Gronks catch on 3rd and 12 where he caught it a few yards short of the first down and blasted through 3 defenders to get the first is worth mentioning.

We were in 4 down territory but still a huge play and definitely set the tone for the drive.

Here that vid of Branch clearly announcing he wants to join the party.. The big games are still far away . plenty of time for AB to do his kindergarten cop routine on a more consistent basis.. its quite amazing though how big guys like Martin, Mancz.. look like kids when Branch decides to handle the situation..

___

but with all due respect . this is the one and only “biggest“ play . insane actually
great vid:

This was one of the stupidest challenges I've ever seen in my life. What the hell was Houston going to gain by winning the challenge? Did BoB really think BB would attempt a 55+ yard field goal at that point given that he had already passed on it earlier in the game? Punting from 10 yards back would have *helped* the Pats, not hurt them. Absolutely no upside for Houston. The downside? Losing a timeout in a close game where you might wind up having 25 seconds to get into field goal range.

Incredibly stupid.

Gronk's blitz pickup on the first Cooks TD was as good as it gets. Anyone have a video/gif of that?

My friends and I were laughing when he thew the red flag. If Gronk got a first down, throw the flag all day long but he clearly didn't make it. But hey, the Pats won a very Patriot-like game. They made less little mistakes than the other team.

Although I used to bring this up about Gronk saying "no one appreciates all the work and production he provides from blocking and as a general disruptive force on the field" when talking about Gronk's stats...

Today I feel like most Patriots fans at least pay attention to Gronk's contributions AWAY from the ball

No other TE plays with the abandon he does. Let's just hope he's healthy through the playoffs!

I agree 100%..........the only thing my brother and I could come up with is that Bill O'Brien's fantasy football opponent started Gronk in a PPR league.
