Good post. I was just watching Draft Day (Kevin Costner + draft = perfect) and Costner's character mentioned that he'd like to put his team on the field just once. So to that end, based on the prospects I've liked the most, this would probably be my team:

QB - Hasn't really been one. Ryan Mallett or Ryan Tannehill probably.
RB - Doug Martin
FB - Nikita Whitlock (this one still smarts. Was convinced he'd be a Patriot).
WR - Marvin Jones (ditto)
WR - Marquess Wilson or Markus Wheaton
TE - ASJ
LT - Terron Armstead
OG - Jon Cooper
OC - None really
OG - Again no other bang the table candidates
RT - Justin Pugh

DE - Kapron Lewis-Moore/Stephon Tuitt
DT - Fletcher Cox.
DT - Akiem Hicks
DE - Armonty Bryant/Terrence Fede
SLB - Dont'a Hightower/ Ronnell Lewis
WLB - Lavonte David/Ryan Shazier
MLB - Kiko Alonso/Alec Ogletree/ Mychal Kendricks
CB - Kyle Fuller/Jamell Fleming (bustamondo!)
CB - Leon McFadden
FS - Jimmie Ward
SS - Mark Barron

This is an honest representation of my bang the table guys of the last few years. Not a world beating team but given a franchise QB and a couple of years, not a bad one either.

WR - Marvin Jones
TE - ASJ
OG - Jon Cooper

DT - Fletcher Cox.
SLB - Dont'a Hightower
CB - Kyle Fuller
CB - Leon McFadden
FS - Jimmie Ward

Those are ones that I had in common with you. Kyle Fuller is my favorite of the bunch and barring injury I'll be shocked if he's not first team all pro by the end of his rookie deal. I think Phillip Gaines is another guy who could be a star.

One of '13 favorite LBs Gerald Hodges stepping up big today for MIN, looks to be a solid player, I remember wanting him when none of our LBs can cover, affective against the run too

Have to go back to my notes when I get the chance for the earlier years, but off the top of my head from last year:
#1 corner and #12 overall player was Kyle Fuller
#5 overall player was none other than Patriots first round pick Dominique Easley

LSU guard Trai Turner was another guy I had really high in my final grades.

Another one of my '13 favorites, Rambo from UGA picked off Rodgers twice today, looks like it's taking these Day 2/3 guys 2 years to flash

If I was told in advance of reading this post that you would be constructing such a list, I would have wagered more than "a quid" that these three names would be found on it. My only surprise here is no Joel Bitonio, I thought he was one of your later-in-the-process favorites.

Loving the season for sure but there is a part of me that, now that the college season is largely completed, can't wait to follow the draft process again. You and the rest of the gentleman and ladies that are regular posters here (assuming anyone who posts here is actually "regular" ) have really opened up a very enjoyable new part of following football for me. Many thanks to you all and best wishes for a happy, healthy, and successful year to come.

Thank you. Things start getting interesting draft wise in January. Can't wait.

Agree 100%

I read here more then I post, but some of the best football discussions on Pats Fans happens on the draft forum, largely thanks to Manxman, Mayo clinic, and Off the grid (just to name a few) you guys do a great job, only speaking for myself but I appreciate your input, especially on draft prospects.

Considering that the contributions of the other two absolutely dwarf my own, these days, I am deeply honored to be included on that list. Thank ye kindly, Brothers!!

This is a hard exercise to do fairly. So I'm going to make some assumptions for myself:

- Include players from 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 (draft eligible). The thread title says 2013-15, but a lot of people have been including 2012.
- Eliminate any player taken in the top 20 picks from 2012-2014, and currently ranked in the top 20 by NFLDraftScout. That eliminates a lot of guys I liked (many before they became hot items) such as Aaron Donald (#13, 2014), Greg Robinson (#2, 2014), Ziggy Ansah (#5, 2013), Kyle Fuller (#14, 2014), Ryan Shazier (#15, 2014), Kyle Long (#20, 2013), Dontari Poe (#11, 2012) and Odell Beckham (#12, 2014).
- Limit myself to 4 players taken in the 1st round from 2012-2014, or currently projected 21-32 for 2015.

Obviously, I'm not including guys who have turned out to be studs who I wasn't particularly high on. Otherwise, Dont'a Hightower, LeVeon Bell and Alshon Jeffery would all be on my team.

Again, those are just for my own working purposes. With that in mind, if I could build a team from guys who I liked from 2014-2015, it would probably look something like this:

QB: didn't really have one I liked from 2012-2015; I missed on Russell Wilson in 2012
WR1: Keenan Allen (3rd round, 2013)
WR2: Cody Latimer (2nd round, 2014) or DeAndre Smelter (2015) (I'd take Alshon Jeffery, but I didn't tout him in 2012)
WR3 (slot): TY Hilton (3rd round, 2012)
TE1: Travis Kelce (3rd round, 2013)
TE2 (move): Jordan Reed (3rd round, 2013)
RB: Tevin Coleman (2015); I'd take LeVeon Bell now, but I didn't tout him in 2013
3rd down RB: Devonta Freeman (4th round, 2014)
H-Back/FB: Kyle Juszczyk (4th round, 2013) or Trey Millard (7th round, 2014)
LT: TJ Clemmings (2015 - currently NFLDraftScout #23) (1st round pick)
LG: Joel Bitonio (2nd round, 2014)
C: John Urschel (5th round, 2014) (I'd probably take Bryan Stork now)
RG: Brandon Thomas (3rd round, 2014)
RT: Cam Erving (2015)

LDE: Danielle Hunter or DeForest Buckner (2015)
DT/NT: Johnathan Hankins (2nd round, 2013) Malcolm Brown or Jordan Phillips (2015) (I'd take Eddie Goldman if I could have an extra 1st round pick)
DT/3-Tech: Dominique Easley (1st round, 2014) (1st round pick)
RDE: Chandler Jones (1st round, 2012) (1st round pick)
SAM/EDGE: Jamie Collins (2nd round, 2013)
MLB/EDGE: Bernardrick McKinney (2015 - currently NFLDraftScout #24) (1st round pick) (2013) (I'd take Dont'a Hightower now, but didn't tout him)
WLB/LB-S hybrid: Lavonte David (2nd round, 2012)
S1: Jonathan Cyprien or DJ Swearinger (2nd round, 2013)
S2: Antone Exum (6th round, 2014)
CB1: Tharold Simon (5th round, 2013)
CB2: Phillip Gaines (3rd round, 2014)
Nickel DB (slot/nickel CB; can also play S): Lamarcus Joyner (2nd round, 2014)
