No. It came from the GM's wife herself in which she later apologized. The board has discussed it recently, but she has a history of allegedly fooling around. If you look up clips online, she's pretty low class who constantly disrespects her husband. Vrabel's reaction to something she said was pretty funny. She's for the streets.

Sure - and I understand why they fired her, out of concern for bias and journalistic integrity (and yes that still does matter for some outlets even in a day and age where corporate/political influences seek to control what you know)

I think the case that she helped push Julio Jones to the Titans or any other players is pretty flimsy to me... i.e. calling the Titans a long shot... Vrabel is a smart enough guy not to show his hand to a reporter even if he is sleeping with her

If anything, Vrabel used his relationship (even if it wasn't physical) with her to the Titans benefit - that type of thing is standard operating procedure in all realms to have sources in the media, telling them only what you want them (and others) to know, and not telling them the things you don't want people to know

The inference I assume is that Vrabel told her he was interested in Jones and instead of reporting that, she reported the opposite and wrote other things to get Atlanta to trade him. That's a pretty big assumption - but as long as Kraft feels like his head coach can keep things close to the vest, it's a nothing burger as far as Vrabel is concerned, and a "guilty until proven innocent" situation for Rossini - but it's no surprise that she got fired with that question hanging over her.

Just to be clear, she wasn't fired, she resigned. And yes there is a difference. She only had 2 more months left on her contract and said screw it if I leave now this whole thing will blow over much quicker. She happens to be 100% correct.

Journalistic integrity is about reporting the truth and nothing to do with how you get the story. Two consenting adults can do whatever they please, as long as it is within the confines of the law. If one of them wants sex and other wants a scoop to further their career, where exactly is lack of integrity. The fact that they are both married to other people is in no way a lack of integrity, its simply others imposing their over overzealous sense of morality onto others due to a lack of excitement in their own lives.

This is reality. 99% of humanity uses their advantages to those ends. I ran a daycare and got pulled over one evening by a police lieutenant whose kid I took care of, he then apologized and said " I wouldn't have stopped you if I had known who it was." That doesn't make it right if it's criminal or unethical, but otherwise it's pretty normal.

I cared about the possibility of consequences. Thankfully Vrabel moves forward with the Pats, free to coach and lead to the best of his ability. It's honestly the best result we could have hoped for, football-wise.

Glad we're mostly disconnected from the story at this point. Some mediots will still buzz it like flies on **** but that's life.
