6'3 230 pounds. First specialist drafted off the entire board. ESPN just said he's the first player drafted that they have zero footage of, haha.

He hit 85% last year including 4 straight in the rain and a rain game winner after being iced with 2 timeouts. He won the NFL Zauner Combine for best kicker, and on his pro day hit 12/13 missing just a 66 yarder by inches. On kickoffs he consistently sends it 10 yards into the endzone or alternatively kicks to goal-line with hang time of 4.2 seconds which apparently is good. He is going around practicing during quarantine by aiming for light poles in parks 50 yards away. This pick by Bill or his dog fills another position need for the Patriots.

Marshall football: Kicker Justin Rohrwasser doing whatever he can to be ready for NFL opportunity

This kids going to trigger the F out of some people on this board

If it's true the kid is 14/14 in his career in the 4th quarter or OT that's an awesome stat. Nice job by his agent

.

I approve it. Keeps the trend of strong, unique and international names for our kickers

Welcome Roh...ahn you!

I can name a handful of posters who will threaten to no longer be fans of the team.

Strong leg and he hit them when it mattered. Works for me.

MCGILL: Rohrwasser stays ready for this month's NFL Draft - Marshall University Athletics

...
If a player performed well at a Pro Day, that could give the prospect a leg up on the competition. And, goodness, did Rohrwasser perform when the NFL scouts showed up at the Chris Cline Athletic Complex last month. He attempted 13 field goals, making 12. He connected from these yardage distances: 33, 33, 35, 39, 42, 45, 47, 49, 52, 55 and 58.

Rohrwasser's one miss: 66 yards, wide right. He wasn't short, either, as the kick missed by only inches, but halfway up the upright.

"I can't even put a price on that," Rohrwasser said. "It was invaluable to me. I was able to get a lot of eyes on me through that and kick in front of different scouts and special teams coordinators, which was special. You can't put a price on a coach seeing you, getting to meet you and talk to you."

While in Buffalo, Rohrwasser said he has had contact with 12 NFL teams. Front offices have adapted to the circumstances and conducted video meetings and interviews.

"It's really good to consistently talk to these coaches and let them know where I'm at in my training," Rohrwasser said. "They tell me what their interest is and what their process. It's good to build those relationships."

There's little doubt why NFL front offices would have an interest in Rohrwasser. He finished his senior season with 18 field goals on 21 attempts, including a long of 53. That career long was memorable, as it came on the game's final play to seal the win against Western Kentucky.

Rohrwasser also made 35 of 36 extra points and handled kickoff duties, recording 33 touchbacks in 62 attempts.

All of that helped Rohrwasser win the Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Year award. He was a first team all-conference selection and Marshall's Special Teams MVP.
...

He kicked a 53 yarder against Western Kentucky last Oct.

A couple of expert graders have already given this pick an F. And he wasn't listed at Walter in the best place kicker list. (ha)

I'd like to see the Patriots cover their butt by also signing a UDFA kicker.

There was no reason to take the 530th best prospect at 159 and pass over prospects like Jake From. To top it all off the guy has right wing paramilitary tattoos on his arm which will play well in Boston....not

Yeah, I don't get it either. But the Krafts must be OK with it.

Hm surprising he was picked over Blankenship.

He has a "three percent" tattoo on his left arm- Bob Kraft will love this. I bet this guy is released by the weekend.

he Three Percenters (also styled 3 Percenters, 3%ers and III%ers[1]) are an American far-right militia movement[2] and paramilitary group.[3] The group advocates gun ownership rights and resistance to the U.S. federal government's involvement in local affairs.

The group's name derives from the disputed claim that only three percent of American colonists took up arms against the Kingdom of Great Britain during the American Revolution.[4][5]

The Southern Poverty Law Center categorizes the Three Percenters as an "anti-government" group.[6] Some Canadian experts consider the group the "most dangerous extremist group" in Canada.[4]

We all knew he would draft a kicker, thought it would be later though.

You’re the type of guy who sends emails to companies complaining that they’re an ad for a certain podcast, show, etc you don’t like.

AKA a complete and utter ass.
