Matthews and Mahomes’ brother, Jackson, were seated together at Gillette Stadium, and according to Matthews, Patriots fans recognized them immediately when they sat down and made it a mission to harass them at the game.

I have zero patience for drunkenness at any sporting event. It’s just not acceptable

I bet the fans would have been far less vocal had the game simply been called correctly. This should be expected. I bet soft as baby **** Kraft bans those involved from the stadium, unless they are red seaters.

Seriously, doesn't showing up to a pro sporting event carry an expectation of some "harassment" from the home team fans? A trip to Baltimore for a Sox game comes to mind. Great park btw. It was fathers day, and whoever that loud mouth, "who do you want to go to war with" OF was was being heckled something fierce. Some sox fan 10 seats over went 3-4 rows up swinging full beercans after one quip. I don't even remember what was said. I pointed out the waste of a 15 dollar drink and the humor of whatever was said, and everyone had a good time ribbing the guy from there on out.

Those calling it gross/disgusting/whatever need to unknot their panties and wait to see the claims as to what was said or done. A spilled beer is one thing, a thrown one another. Heckling should be expected. Frankly, there are few things that could be said that would qualify as over the line given the circumstances of where she willingly decided to go. I highly doubt this type of true was thrown out there, as Gillette has a pretty well deserved reputation as an accepting crowd. That said, if an opposing fan is being a jackass, things can get nasty quick.

Im sure there is plenty more to the story that won't come to light, as the Kraft's would rather piss on the heads of those that financially support them. So they'll issue some vague capitulatory statement or let the actions taken stand as their statement. Bob also has a well earned and well known reputation as a spineless prick who will do whatever his Billionaire string pullers ask.

Theyd be calling for a certain NFL employee involved last night to be on the business end of a noose in unmistakeable racist fashion. Nobody here has done that yet (that I've seen, anyway).

Heckling the opposing teams qb's gf should be expected. Just because other fans are too stupid to recognize her doesn't mean we are.

Meh - what was the level of harassment? Normally they would remove the disruptive fans, not move the victims. Gillette is very good about not letting drunks get out of hand if someone reports them. Query why they weren't in a box or at least club seats anyway. There were several Chiefs fans around me, including 2 Canadian fans right behind me cheering for the Chiefs in French. I didn't see any of them get harassed by Pats fans. If Jerome Boger came in the stands, however, all bets would have been off.
