Sounds like he’s doing well and has the respect of the players...not always easy when you’re the boss’s kid. There’s an intensity about him that I like.

Imagine if he can pick up from Bill in a few years...other fanbases will just give up.

Pretty good for such a young man.

If there is a 2nd Belichick dynasty there will be heads imploding across the NFL. Good for him. Will be interesting how they game plan against Lamar.

Lmao imagine a 2nd QB dynasty on top of a 2nd Belichick dynasty, wouldn't be surprised if we pull a Yankees and have a multi decade dynastic ru

Haven't we already? Being in the final 4 almost every year is nearly impossible and yet...

All Steve will have to do is find another Tom Brady.

I think he could be our heir really like his pre season put up better numbers than JG did in his rookie year and JG didn't play well either when he did get snaps in his rookie year in the regular season.

We all hope that Stidham turns into that player. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Speaking of JG, he looked pretty good last night.

Yea nailed it with JG and JB next is JS and JS already has better rookie pre season numbers than both I think he can be better than JG if he hits his ceiling but we'll see how it pans out.

He’s a good quarterback, I don’t know why there’s always this weird dynamic on the board about praising him versus being called a “Garoppoloite” or some stupid thing. I think most people realize he had to move on, but I like him and hope he does well. Except for when he plays the patriots of course.

I'm surprised how involved he already is. Definitely promising.

Saying Jimmy G is a good QB is fine.

Saying BB f-ed up in trading Jimmy (which implies the poster wanted JG over TB12) means the poster is in fact a Garrapolite.

A Garrapolite isn't looking at anything logical, like salary cap space, Super Bowls or "GOATness". They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with.

Garrapolites just want to watch Jimmy start over TB12.

On a board with this many members, it’s possible to find opinions on just about anything. But there was no real groundswell of support for keeping the guy. There was just a lot of debate about the best way to approach it and if there was anyway to keep both, and ultimately there wasn’t. Basically, I really think the Garripolite thing is a bit of a myth around these parts.
