I don't think Shelton plays our type of defense. Seems like, after benching a few games, they let him go and he had some penetration. With an offseason, I expect they try to find a NT who plays two gap.

Smells like Lawrence Guy deal 2 yrs ago.

People tagged him as camp body, tweener etc.
In the end the camp body tweener is the only DT to remain (+ udfa tweener Butler) while all 1st rounders are gone (#12 Shelton, #32M.Brown, #33 Branch)..

After the details of Guy's contract became public, I don't think there were many left who thought that he was merely a camp body; he was here to stay.

I never understood why he suddenly lost all his playing time. I think that happened before his arrest. His first year, he was talked about as a late round gem the Colts found.
