My first reaction was one of embarrassment, since I live in Kentucky now (Louisville, very different than Lexington) and I'm sure there'll be lots of well-deserved slights about hicks not understanding basic science etc..

My second reaction was, well the kid DID put a lot of work into his (stupid, mid-guided) project.

And third? WTF IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE??!!! (Sorry to shout)

10 yr old “hates” Tom Brady- seriously? Does he even know what hate means? Also- he would have been about 5 when the false deflating narrative hit the fan. Dad and/or Mom came up with the mess on his science board, not him. Gross.

The school is nurturing future corrupt and unethical scientist. The kid is using his desired outcome to dictate the evidence and not the other way around. Guess it is perfectly fine at this school. This doesn't bode well for the future.

Best thing we can hope for is he gets smarter with age.

Many of these science projects are orchestrated by parents, who do much of the work. I am guessing they should get the credit.

After spending a few years in school working on engineering degrees, I weep for scientific method.

Man, I was just getting done being mad about what Josh Reynolds said and now this kid from Kentucky pipes up!

Science fair rewarding someone who failed to follow the scientific method. I can't think of anything more "2019" than that.
