Do you have the same attitude towards the other STO players: Ebner, King, Flowers, Bademosi and Bolden? Grissom has played a lot of teams for us.

We didn't need a replacement for Valentine on the 53, and certainly not to be active this week. We already have 4 DT's: Branch, Butler, Brown and Guy.

Richards has had lots and lots of reps on ST's in 2016 and 2017.

He also gets reps as a dimeback LB. Patricia doesn't need to use him here. He chooses to do so. He is also Chung's backup. Belichick could have signed or promoted someone else. Perhaps, he knows more about how well Richards is doing than we do.

Grissom also had some DE reps, although he was more of a STO player.

Bequette had almost no reps at all.

Most agree with you. I don't see it. IMHO, in the offseason and through today, we've had a very manageable number of injuries.

We've had a seemingly normal number of players out for a game or two. Hightower, Amendola and Gronkowski are hardly surprises.

We've lost ONE starter. We've lost a couple of rookies (one to IR and one non football), others are contributing. We've also lost our #5 WR, a backup DT, a backup linebacker who some wanted cut, and a DB who almost everyone wanted cut.

Valentine looked like a starter when healthy and Branch is currently in the doghouse for poor play. That leaves Brown, Butler, and Guy. I wonder if they consider bringing him back from IR instead of McClellan.

I'd sure like that waste in the middle of the D-line and healthy.
