Wes Welker is now a coach for the Texans. In this 6 minute interview he explains why he went to the Texans. What makes Tom Brady so great. And why he got into coaching in the first place. Well worth your time in the dead period.

BTW- I think what lets me know that this is a real calling for Welker is the fact that he admits that he's come on at a real entry level position, and he's serious about learning this new craft from the bottom up. He is NOT there just to pass on his knowledge working with receivers and returners. While he is going to do that too, right now most of his work is is learning how to break down film and data entry. Definitely not a "celebrity" coach.

Breakfast: Wes Welker off to good start in coaching Enjoy.

What 6 minute interview are you referring to?

How many times did he say, "Ya know"?

Edit: I stopped counting at 10, 2:30 into the 7:50 interview.

Coming on the heels of their blowout loss to the Champs in the playoffs, their offense needs to step up. Wes really needs to put his foot down with those wrs to improve their route running.
Otherwise, they're no shoe-ins to even win their division.

Still a pretty good gig, if you can get it.

He wants more money to buy more horses to race

And so he can do this

Missed catch......through hands CB INT and a helmet catch...would that be 8 Lombardi's? LOL or did 2 come in same game?

The helmet catch was later in the same game (same drive) as the through the hands int.

Dropped catch was the other game.
