Jed York: I own the 49ers, and you don’t dismiss owners

Asked why he shouldn’t be dismissed alongside Baalke and Kelly, York answered, “I own this football team. You don’t dismiss owners. I’m sorry that that’s the fact and that’s the case, but that’s the fact.”

Keep those doors turning, Jed... it's entertaining for the rest of us...

... perhaps also a little nauseating.

Of course, back in the 1990's Kraft was much more involved in the day to day with the Pats. Makes you appreciate how he learned the folly of that, and now leaves the football side of things 100% to BB.

I'm still mad a Bob for bending over to Goody but thank god he recognized that he needed to get the hell out of BBs way.

I always thought Jed was Denise Debartalo's husband...Its her son.

The guy is 37 years old.

Hes completely out of his depth and has no idea what he is doing.

The local papers in SF/San Jose are destroying him.

I caught the press conference. He sided with Baalke over Harbaugh, fires the coach he hired to replace Harbaugh, then fires both coach and GM the next year. After all of that, he couldn't even articulate the process.

Couple that with the Bills GM saying he had no idea why Ryan was fired, and then the ownership stating otherwise in the context of a release that the management was not dysfunctional, and fans can rest assured that there are at least two franchises with little hope for the future.

I'd rather be in Cleveland than San Fran (ignoring location). San Fran has become a real **** show. They went from perennial contender to perennial bottom feeder basically over night. Harbaugh probably gets them a SB eventually if he sticks around.

This is real life fantasy football for him.

I watched the clip on TV and thought the guy was a junior PR flak until I realized that it was the Owner and went all ROFL.

Why do people with rich parents love to act like they deserve respect?
Assuming that's a serious question, the answer, in my experience is, because they get fawned over from when they are in diapers because they "have all that money" and mistake it for respect.
