NFL Week 3 Predictions and Picks Against the Spread

Thursday night the New England Patriots successfully completed Act Three of their 2016 FU 345 Park Avenue tour, crushing the Houston Texans 27-0 at Gillette Stadium. On Sunday Pats fans can sit back and relax, rooting on disaster and enjoying schadenfreude for rival teams and their salty-tear fans.

CBS owns the doubleheader this week and will beam a pair of interesting games involving AFC contenders into the New England area that are well worth watching. The Bengals host the Denver Broncos in the early game, and then the Jets travel to Arrowhead Stadium to play the Kansas City Chiefs. For the third straight week the primary game on FOX is a matchup between two NFC East clubs; this time it is Washington at New York.

Pretty much. Its being shown in about 85% of the country. Can't recall ever seeing an early game with that much coverage

WHO TO ROOT FOR:
Broncos vs. Bengals - A loss here could be big for HFA down the road.

Vikings vs. Panthers - NFC matchup, no interests here

Raiders vs. Titans - Want Raiders to at least compete in AFC West to stop Broncos

Browns vs. Dolphins - Because AFC East foe

Redskins vs. Giants - I'll root for Wash but it'll be a lost cause

Cardinals vs. Bills - Because AFC East foe

Lions vs. Packers - Don't care, NFC

Ravens vs. Jaguars - Jax because Deflategate Karma for Ratbirds

49ers vs. Seahawks - Don't care, NFC

Rams vs. Bucs - Don't care, NFC

Jets vs. Chiefs - Because AFC East foe

Chargers vs. Colts - San D Eggo because Deflategate Karma for Dolts (poor Luck tho)

Steelers vs. Eagles - Eagles are NFC

Bears vs. Cowboys - Hate the Cowboys

Cardinals vs. Bills - Because AFC East foe

Lions vs. Packers - NFC I do not want easy restful season for Pack

Ravens vs. Jaguars - Jax because Deflategate Karma for Ratbirds

49ers vs. Seahawks - NFC I sorta like the Seabirds & Wilson

Rams vs. Bucs - NFC I root for the Bucs when I winter in FL South of Tamper

Jets vs. Chiefs - Because AFC East foe & because they're the Jets

Chargers vs. Colts - San D Eggo because Deflategate Karma for Dolts (poor Luck tho)

Steelers vs. Eagles - Eagles are NFC & steelers are a HFA threat

what a great game for NE .. crushing the flying Bills (after their @Colts upset) .. setting up what felt very much like another SB run ..

the fact that this year CJ is somewhat forgotten is credit to a great construction of the 2016 NE team with great insurance against any injury

I know this should be a no-brainer, root against the division rival. But yet...somehow, I don't love the idea of a desperate Buffalo team playing for its season (and the Ryan brothers' careers) next week. An out-of-control opponent is a scary injury risk, if nothing else.

I know I'm going to be pissed at the end of this Donkeys-Kitties game. Bengals up all game, Broncos get a horseshit pass interference call to keep the last drive alive to take the lead. Dalton throws a horrible interception to lose it.
