Surprised to see Derby on that list.
Yeah but they probably would have had to leave a offensive lineman inactive if they did and what's the point if derby was just gonna be a situational blocker

The most interesting ones for me are Anthony Johnson, to AJ Derby, to LWaddle. Those are 3 supposedly healthy scratches that you'd expect to be on the active roster. My guess is they gave Derby the first shot at the "other" TE, and decided to give Harbor the next one. Also I guess the the whole 3 TE thing isn't in the plan this week. I guess Flemming will be used as the 3rd TE when they want to got that route. Also having a true FB who can be moved all over helps as well. Once again "positional flexibility" rears its head on the Pats.

AJohnson is another guy, like Derby" who seems to have gone from pre-season heart throb to just another end of the roster guy. I really have high hopes for that kid, so I hope this is just an aberration .

Wouldn't jump to that conclusion about Johnson yet. He got some real snaps last week. Just a game plan thing.

Probably more run D and try to contain pocket and dare Tannenhill to throw.
With High inactive Reiss says that freeney is backup, so lets see why Bill extend him.

I wonder if we will see a lot of Elandon Roberts today?

Yep..Freeney is good at being 12th man on D... sheesh.....
