Ian Logue

Here's a rundown of this morning's top stories for Tuesday March 22, 2016.

Even if he comes out of retirement don't the Lions still have exclusive rights to him?

yes.....but the problem is that per the contract, he comes back at around $17M.........it's a situation that if the Lions want to keep him, they're going to have to make room for that $$ under their cap

What happens in Detroit that it sucks so much to play there? Is this related with the decline that it's going on there in the last decades, I mean, a top paid professional can't have the same fun he could have in Florida, NY, California or big cities in general?

Nate Burleson said you should come here. Enough said it's a done deal

On the bright side, this has finally gotten people to stop suggesting they resign Randy Moss....

Now if people could just stop suggesting Larry Fitzgerald I think that would be something too.

I've only ever flown over Detroit and spent 30 minutes running through Detroit Metropolitan Airport trying to catch a connecting flight, and I could tell it sucked.

I was driving my family through Detroit and my four year old daughter said "Look! It's like Wall-E!"

(Referring to the scenes where Wall-E is endlessly compacting trash on the destroyed, garbage-filled Earth.)

As for fun, the biggest text on a nightclub advertisement is always "Lit, guarded parking lot!"

Judging by the billboards, the largest industry there is suing your employer.

Oh, and their football team sucks too.

There's days I could kill for a Detroit coney though.

I'd love to see him catching passes from Tom Brady--doubt it'll happen, but it's an intriguing thought.

The rational person says this won't happen but I keep getting suckered into these posts teasing me that it might. Can't hurt to dream, right?

The first Robocop with Peter Weller depicted current Detroit dead on. A few nice buildings with nothing but dilapidation, antiquation and garbage surroundings them. Sad.

The one thing I got from this article was Bureleson's comment that Johnson should take a year off and come take a REAL run at a championship with the Pats. I take personal pride that the impression is SO strong that being on the Patriots is synonymous with being a championship contender EVERY year.

Clearly that kind of impression is very strong around the league to spark a comment like that. So here is the bottom line in this. It isn't much chance that Charles Johnson is coming to the Pats.... but there is a STRONG sense around the league, that if you are member of the New England Patriots, you are looking at a strong run at the Superbowl

What I found most interesting was Burleson's comment that he should take a year off and come back to the Pats so he can take a real run at a championship. Personally I took a lot of P

Me too. Getting older has its drawbacks.
