It's amazing how in sync the whole team looked with Edelman back in the line up. On the same play Amendola was open for a 5-7 yard gain if needed.

Yeah, watching the Belichick breakdown of the coaches film showed just how much Edelman opens up the field for other players as well. A totally different feel for the offense with him in there, and you can literally see a different level of confidence from Brady on the field.

I am starting to have crazy thoughts that Edelman may be equally as important to the team as Gronk..... (he's not, because of Gronk's blocking abilities, but he is nonetheless crucial -- and the two are lethal in combination on the field.)

Maybe I'm mistaking decisiveness for velocity (or maybe they're related), but Tom actually seemed to me to have more zip on his passes. Threw one seed to Martin for about 15 yards that was an absolute blur. I was so reinvigorated as a fan after that first TD drive.
