Wetzel:A year after deflate-gate ballooned, science shows shame of it all

You have to wonder what Goodell is thinking right now.

**** I SPENT 5 MILLION FOR A WASTE OF 8 MONTHS

It was all for not Roger

I cannot wait for him to hand the Lombardi to Brady in front of 100 million people.

Basically anyone with a quasi open mind now knows that the Pats did nothing wrong and the deflation was caused by nature. The fact that the Pats still lost a first and fourth round draft pick over this is just incredible.

I truly believe that this was just because we have been so successful in the past 15 years.

Amazing

He's laughing all the way to the bank. Not only did he get the pats picks, but he made tons of friends among the owners and didn't even lose ****y Kraft's support. Win, win.

He never gave a **** what the fans think of him anyway, so no loss there.

The fact that articles like this are already popping up makes me wonder about the rumored "summary of findings" forthcoming from the NFL. It's a pretty bad look to have all these articles saying "basically this was all a sham, the science proves Brady's innocence", then have the NFL come out right after and say "science is wrong! No PSI change!"

yup

Good, since Yahoo is already writing how much of a shame deflate gate was, they should be the ones pressuring Goddell to give us our draft picks back...

That's what happens when the owner refuses to stand up for his team.

Is there a dislike but agree rating?

I respect Yahoo for allowing it, apparently they are one of the few major media institutions that isn't under the thumb of the National Fraud League.

Nice that he didn't even mention all the text messages and everything in the Wells report.

The thing is, if the PSI levels all were 2.0 under expected, then those text messages and bathroom trips would be suspicious. But the data don't lie. If there was a scheme to let air out of footballs then it was executed very poorly, as the PSI levels were exactly what they should have been according to the data.

Science *****es!!

Pats, decimated by injuries, made it to the AFCCG. That's all you need to know in order to blow this deflategate ******** out of the water.

Impressive how even Yahoo commenters (usually the worst) are over 90% with the Patriots position.

The more cosmopolitan sites tend to have a moderating effect on homerism/rivalries. Reddit's NFL sub has been largely pro-Patriots (from a deflategate perspective) for months and months now.

The worst part about all of this is the NFL undoubtedly knows it ****ed up but they've spent so much money and put the league's reputation on the line so they're just gonna double down until the end.

I miss Tags so much.

Ok. Lets look at the draft picks that were stolen from us. How in all that is decent and just can Kraft accept this, now that all this garbage has been proven to be garbage?

The 230 million dollar check they get means much more to them than we do.
