I'd WAY rather have Moss over TO if we're going to do something crazy like this. At least Moss would know the offense better, has chemistry with Brady and is smart enough to pick up the playbook better. Moss was a great teammate whereas you'd have to worry about TO going a little coo coo and stir up the locker room. If it wasn't for the history of drama...and especially drops, I'd say "What the hell, bring him in for a workout at least". Whatever his age. Because BB has shown a gift for toning down high maintenance players.

But I've never seen an "elite" wr drop passes as much as T.O. in his prime. So, no. The extra work the coaching staff would have to put in to manage his 'tude would not pay enough dividends. Even if he defies his age and can still run, and could pick up New England's very complex wr playbook. Unless he got a hands transplant he would still drop too many passes.
