"As someone who lost his phone and was threatened by the person who found it to take numbers celebrities and players public, I advise my players to destroy phones they are no longer using out of respect for people whose numbers are in there, whose conversations could perhaps be recovered," said NFL agent David Canter, who represents San Diego Chargers safety Eric Weddle, Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Sean Smith and Miami Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon, among others.

OMG! That article just outed Weddle, Smith, and Vernon as participants in illegal activities. No one destroys their phone unless they're concealing evidence. Investigations to start soon!

Everyone who isn't blindly hating on Brady knows this. Think of the numbers in there.. Michael Jordan, Marky mark, Giselle of course.. Likely a bunch of other high profile public figures. As we are finding out, the level of corruption in the NFL* might just be greater than any we've seen. And we know now that the phone thing is ******** because of they said they didn't need it.

Jay-Z, Beyonce, Donald Trump, to name a few

Its a simple exercise that good parents teach their children....

"Put yourself in their shoes. How would you feel? How would you react? What would you do?"

On one hand, yes. On the other hand, Rovell is literally the dumbest human being alive. I'm not sure what to think of this. Even a broken clock is right twice a day?

love this part

So to review: Ted Wells wanted the texts, not the phone. The league wanted the texts, but the phone was destroyed. When the league was offered a way to figure out if there was additional incriminating evidence through the people that Brady was in touch with, they felt that was work that didn't make sense for them to do.

That essentially means the confirmation of the appeal is mostly about the destroying of the phone, which makes me wonder what Roger Goodell did the last time he changed phones. Did he render it physically unusable like Brady apparently did? If Goodell didn't, he certainly should next time. You probably should, too.

To further this point, just yesterday, his wife was the front page story on the world's most read tabloid for wearing a burqa to hide from the paparazzi in France while she may or may not have been on her way to have cosmetic surgery. The third picture in the article was a close up of her feet. How many losers jerked off to that?

Why would Brady take extreme measures to protect his privacy? Well, there you have it. His life is not like yours or mine.

Me. My phone is pretty important. Wouldn't want anyone to know I am a member of that insolent website patsfans.com.

Could be very damaging.

No

Not to mention that they both have brands to protect...their names . They will be worth money to them even when Brady is done with football. On top of the fact that his wife is worth more than he is and she probably wanted him to destroy it as well.

FFS, I wipe my phones when I'm done with them, and literally nobody cares what happens in my personal life. Anyone who doesn't is asking for trouble.

Never had this problem. I kept my old S3 and use it for a backup.
