Someone who is heads and tails better than any other QB on his current team and could start on any of the other 31 Franchises and still be competitive to win.
I guess to sum it up a QB who you can count on to win games on his own.

He looked like 2020 Cam Newton on a good day (which if you recall, was mostly what we got at the beginning of the year before COVID/defenses figured him out). We haven't seen Heinicke play enough games to see what happens when he has a bad day, or how often those bad days happen.

Sure, I'd like to see Heinicke on our roster if he doesn't cost more than a couple million, but he is absolutely not anyone's long term solution.

We didn’t get to see him in practices we didn’t get to see what the coaches saw.
My point is it’s another miscalculation by the front office. The way the kid played last night we would of been in the playoff hunt and a much more competitive team.
It’s just frustrating.
I don’t care if we don’t win the super bowl every year but I want us to he competitive every season and the offense not to be a laughingstock which it was. Can you count how many times Patriots and no weapons of lack of weapons was mentioned under the same breath?

He played well against a soft Tampa zone and an OL hat protected him. It was impressive. Not let's see him go up against a better defense that isn't playing soft zone.

Williams' was flabbergasted too. He has said he has hated the Pats since that day they passed over him. However, he had a ton of mileage on him and that was the risk. Had he broke down within a couple of years, we'd been complaining about that.

I think a lot of people on here seem to forget the Pats tried to inject some much needed big play potential and both Maroney and Jackson were those guys. Bill took a swing and missed badly.
