Fresno Connection

I was checking him out a last week. I was checking the Fresno State pipeline that BB loves. Marshall stood out. He plays in a great system and he can tackle! The question is do we take him at 21?? Will he be there in Round 2??

I wouldn't chance it.

I'm in favor of taking a cb early. Our secondary has been hampered
by injuries. We can't be sure what we have coming back. I think Marshall
more likely to be picked by Pats than some others. I think we tend to
shy away from the underclassmen; Cromartie,T.Hill and Yabouty come
to mind. Plus, Fresno St connection. I know it's too simplistic to look
at it this way. But, I cut Starks and Poole. Use that money to keep
Givens. Replace them in draft with Marshall and R.Gay coming back.
I think C.Scott might come back too.

My bad. I thought he was a senior. Still like him though. He seems
more solidly built than Yabouty and Hill. I think Cromartie could turn
out best in the long run. But, he's a gamble coming off ACL surgery.
And, only being at FSU for two years. I can see us trading down.
I've read some articles that have said there are 40-45 good players.
So, getting an extra pick to move down a couple of spots might be
the way to go.
