3rd pick for sure is not a guarantee of taking a star, a franchise QB. I know one thing , QB is the most important position in entire football, you have to find one to make your team succeeded. However 3rd pick gives opportunity to get one of 4 most valuable QBs - Williams, Daniels, Maye or JJ...
Every player wants to grab proper money and when a few teams offer similar contracts of course they are focus on other factors, especially who is your leader, who is your franchise QB. Unfortunately last years our playmakers were not attractive , did not offer formula for a success. New England...
I am satisfied we have so many options at 3rd pick but at the same time we should be very careful when we decide to pick a QB later and try to trade down "a bit". I have a strange feelings Williams, Maye, Daniels and JJ will disappear from the board before pick 11. So if Wolfe and Mayo are...
Agree, New England isn't a green island for players anymore. There is no a factor like BB or TB12 attracting anyone. I hope it will change sooner than later.

All I am trying to say is ( except...
What is the reason to panic at this point of the season?
We know this year FA is weak, we can see how many players are overpaid. I assume one of our needs is to find a legit WR1 but simply names like Ridley, Mike Williams, Pittman aren't even aspire to be one of them. Ok, maybe I say maybe...
When offensive market is shrinking everyday maybe it is time to invest some money in defense. Of course there are some interesting names on the board like Tyron Smith or there is possibility to look at someone via trade.
However Gilmore/Fuller or other veteran CB2 is coveted, maybe Simmons as a...
IMO there is no savior for us this year. I mean neither FA nor draft makes us contender this year. Unless savior means someone who pushes us to playoffs.
I expect stable moves, no rush, no hurries. Fill the holes, draft a QB and other valuable players. Do not panic, rebuild the team this year...
I am not so sure about Ridley as our WR1. In Atlanta he was definitely a leader but amongst Jaguars he did not show his potential. I had impression Kristian Kirk woke up and was more visible than Ridley.
