Patriots Rumor A.J. Brown trade rumors heat up - Should Patriots get him?

Had Nix not broken his ankle, the Broncos would've easily beaten the Pats in the AFCCG. Pats OL was getting worse by the week and it got to a point where they could barely move the ball starting in the AFCCG. The only reason the Pats got a TD was because the Broncos' idiot backup threw the ball...

Patriots Player Departure Gibby to the Cards

He was awful and slow diagnosing plays making him a liability. I dreaded when ball carriers went to his direction. It was a night and day difference when Spillane returned.

NFL News Dolphins Trading Jaylen Waddle to Broncos

The Jets and Dolphins are going to have a great battle on who wants last place more.

Today In Patriots History March 16, 2001: NE signs Steelers free agent Mike Vrabel

I absolutely hated Mike Vrabel after that sack in 1997. He didn't do much after that and I didn't care for the signing in 2001. Loved Steve Isreal. The late 90's secondary is 2nd to none in swag and nobody comes close.

Can we now start to think the whole “Kraft is cheap” was more of a Belichick philosophy?

I started watching during the Drew years, so that's all I knew. I was not a fan of Brady early on and wanted the team to win with Bledsoe. After the Super Bowl win, I knew it was time to move on even though I was meh on Brady.

Can we now start to think the whole “Kraft is cheap” was more of a Belichick philosophy?

That was me. Those were two games the defense beat up on a very good offense in the Colts. As long as Bledsoe didn't mess up, they would've won as well. But overall, that team was a 6-10 or 7-9 team with Bledsoe. Although he was my favorite QB in the late 90's, he was becoming very high...

Can we now start to think the whole “Kraft is cheap” was more of a Belichick philosophy?

Yes on the others, but the Colts went 6-10. That was shocking.

Patriots strike deal with New Balance to name the new training facility and be official shoe and apparel of the Patriots

You're just not looking for it, but New Balance has had a resurgence in the last 15 years. And yes, they are popular with the younger generation which started with the older millennials. Nike still dominates by a wide margin, but they have taken a hit recently. People (me included) are getting...

Can we now start to think the whole “Kraft is cheap” was more of a Belichick philosophy?

Agree. After the 2004 season, Brady was already put in the HOF by media and in the GOAT conversation with Joe Montana winning 3 Super Bowls in his first 4 seasons. Peyton Manning was the media's darling, but he was taking a lot of heat because he kept losing to NE. Posters seem to have...

    Player Signing Romeo Doubs Signs

The original 2 years for $60M would've been ridiculous. This contract is way more favorable. He is younger and cheaper for sure. Better remains to be seen, but keeping Diggs at his number would've been idiotic.

Patriots Rumor This is why Brady hates the Patriots and Kraft

Lots of posters left when Brady left because: A. They felt betrayed Tom would do that and B. it exposed BB. No HC can win without good QB play, but their narrative for 20 years that Bill carried everyone blew up in their faces.

Major Improvements To The Run Game

Expect a G/C or T drafted early. The OL has to get better so it doesn't nerf Henderson. He'd explode for 1,200+ on the ground easy with better OL play. A real FB helps as well.

Patriots Rumor Josh Sweat reportedly requested trade?

Already wants to get traded after he signed with Arizona? Cardinals won't do it until after June 1st.

Player Signing Pats Sign Dre'Mont Jones 3/$39 million

Everywhere I go to look up any analysis on him, they just point to "he had 7 sacks last season" or "he can rush inside", but nothing whether he's a good run defender or more disciplined Edge player which was Chaisson was not. I'd be praying the QB not take off after Chaisson would leave a gaping...

Do you think we’re done in FA?

He was pretty bad the first couple seasons in NE which is probably where the name originated from. He was also playing on defenses that were pretty bad in general until 2014. Nobody was really making an impact until they drafted Chandler Jones and Hightower and later traded for Talib.

    Player Signing Romeo Doubs Signs

There's conflicting stories. One is that the FO pushed Bill into signing Schuster because he had better YAC ability than Meyers. Meyers story is that the Pats let him go over "$1M". He didn't elaborate whether it was per year or total. I'm guessing it's per year. Regardless, Meyers had serious...

NFL News Maxx Crosby to Ravens (Update - Ravens Backing Out of the Deal)

Raiders are not giving him away for a 3rd round pick. But if they were, than I'd seriously consider it. With that said, the Pats didn't lose the Super Bowl because of a lack of an Edge player of Crosby's caliber. The defense was rattling their offense, but eventually cracked because they were...

NFL News Would CB L'Jarius Sneed be a good pickup?

This guy was so overrated in KC much like Jamel Dean in Tampa. Both players signed big deals only to get cut only two years later and in Dean's case, give money back so he could become a FA. Pats got lucky with the Davis signing last year as his deal was way more than many expected. He played...

Today In Patriots History March 13, 2014: Free agent Darrelle Revis signs with Patriots

I really liked Aqib Talib, but him leaving two consecutive AFCCG's was the nail in the coffin for me. Even though Revis only played one season, it was the right move. Loved Larry Whigham and was sad to see him go in 2001. Henry Thomas was a great pickup in 1997.
