I think the Patriots potentially will be a top 10 (maybe top 5) defense and don't need to be to win (lets hope DT stays healthy and Gordon stays sober). I'm predicting that Brady vs. Brees SB this year (but I predicted this every year for the last 2 seasons so it means absolutely nothing :D).

Lost-Eric Berry, Dee Ford and Justin Houston; added- Frank Clark, Tyrann Mathieu, Emmanuel Ogbah and Alex Okafor. I'm not really sure whether this is even improvement, let alone "great" improvement.

Unless Sam Darnold lives up to the hype (not seeing it with all the INT's), I think the Patriots have pretty much already clinched the division for the next 2 seasons at least.:D

I think it goes without saying we're in much better shape than Miami. We just need a couple of these picks to work out. If Stidham is really the goods, I think we'll have the advantage over the rest in a post-Brady AFCE.

They now should be a cakewalk for us this season and, even if they use the future draft capital intelligently, they're still years away from being a problem for us. I think I'm okay with this trade.

Maybe. Drafts are inherently a crapshoot. The Jets had 12 selections in 2014 with very little to show for it.
