perhaps that said, Wallace appeared to be the 4th OG in a 3 OG rotation. It was also his first year playing the position, after injury limited him to 3-4 games his rookie season. in theory, last season was his rookie season the staff kept him on the 53 all season. why? because Jake Andrews, Sow...

I specifically said it did not work out "here" for those players

Patriots Player Departure Marte Mapu Released [UPDATE: Traded to HOU - Mapu+7th for 6th]

I believe we are saying much the same thing this past season, those crucial yards gained, moving the chains, eating clock, many times were had by Maye. I like the thought of Randall. I also would entertain bringing Gibson back if he is healthy, would accept a show me type deal, and he is still...

Patriots Player Departure Marte Mapu Released [UPDATE: Traded to HOU - Mapu+7th for 6th]

Stevenson to me looks like he shed 10-15 lbs. he can make defenders miss, but is more body wiggle than size/mass to my eye. I too like Randall. his size, athleticism and hands would make him a lock for the 53 regardless what rd he was drafted. remains to be seen, but they gave Hill a lot of...

sure it can be done. look at Onwenu for case in point but the OL issues start and end with the missed draft capitol of JAndrews, Sow, Mafi, Strange, Hines, Steubber, Sherman, Herron, Woodard, Cajuste, Froho. Thats a lot of capitol that simply did not work out here, be it coaching, scheme or injury.

OT/Humor: Celtics bench defeat Magic in game 82

I concur the huzzah's start with Mazz and Brad. finding and developing the proper fit, is harder than finding a star with a higher draft slot imo. the C's staff has seemingly done it to perfection, but of course we wait and see how the playoffs unfold.

Patriots Player Departure Marte Mapu Released [UPDATE: Traded to HOU - Mapu+7th for 6th]

I very much recall Dillon. but that was a different era. teams need to throw the ball and score I would point to Blount and how he was used. protect the lead. protect the ball. eat clock. great inside the 5 yard line. I don't believe that type of back is on the roster, and that type of back...

Which positions would help improve the 2026 playoff chances most?

repeat, I prefaced my post with "if healthy" I also believe you are down playing how good Vera-Tucker was when healthy, and only focusing on his fluke, unrelated injuries. Likewise, OC is Wilsons natural/better position. he returns healthy, stronger and much more comfortable with the offense...

Which positions would help improve the 2026 playoff chances most?

my comments are predicated on all being healthy if so, I do believe Vera-Tucker is the teams best OL I also am of the opinion that Campbell will be better year 2 than year 1, and thought he was very good for a rookie OT prior to injury. perhaps Moses starts to show his age? perhaps Onwenu...

Which positions would help improve the 2026 playoff chances most?

huh? the team has already upgraded at LG and at OC. Campbell will be healthy and look to improve on his very good rookie season are you looking for OL depth in rounds 1 thru 4? I honestly don't see any rookie OL, regardless of which round picked, playing over any of the top 5 presumed starters...

Which positions would help improve the 2026 playoff chances most?

Muma could be something. perhaps not that said, he has been released by both the Jags and Colts will be 27 years old before the start of the season played 56 defensive snaps last season I have him as a long shot. I would still double dip in the draft in the opportunity presents itself
  12. R

Which positions would help improve the 2026 playoff chances most?

I believe the team needs to double down at LB Spillane, Elliss and who? Britt and Muma are nice ST additions who could help, but have shown to be lacking in the past. lots of productive snaps went out the door with Jennings, Tavai, Gibbons and Mapu. the team is extremely thin at the position...

    Caeden wallace

thing is...Wallace played really well at P State. he also played early on his rookie season prior to injury missed most of the season. came back the last 2 games last season he was switched inside. seemingly a young, low cost OL, that can perhaps move around at 4 positions. staff kept him all...

PATRIOTS NEWS Patriots Hiring Former NYG DC Shane Bowen To Staff

I like the hire very similar back ground to Vrabel. OSU. Texans. Titans. has worked with Vrabel before. we have no idea what T Williams role will be. Bowen could be in a similar spot to Kuhr prior to Williams illness. depth. bench strength always a good thing for the staff, not only the players.

Patriots Player Departure Marte Mapu Released [UPDATE: Traded to HOU - Mapu+7th for 6th]

just saying, Mapu was a significant contributor last season how many udfa's make the roster each season? 1?

Patriots Player Departure Marte Mapu Released [UPDATE: Traded to HOU - Mapu+7th for 6th]

I guess he did not ask for his release wow, a 7th and Mapu get you a cup of coffee
  18. R

    Caeden wallace

I agree players having zero familiarity not only with Mayo, but the entire staff, and having no faith at all in Brissett. we all see how much diversity Vrabels staff has, with reach to many, many teams/players.

Schrager has 8 OT going in rd1 (and 6 WR) before #31. if that Pats over reach at OT too soon, thats how they got here with Wallace. they know Bowry pretty well (OB and Marrone) but will he be there in rd4? is he an over reach in rd 3?
