Patriots Pregame Thread Week 8: Browns @ Pats

That'd get some clicks wouldn't it if Zappe got in this game? Fate, she's a doozie ain't she?

On this schedule??? Tampa Bay???? Greatest Pass on Grass???? (I'm reaching here to help but dang it's kinda hard)

Patriots Pregame Thread Titans Fire Head Coach Brian Callahan / Week 7 Pregame Discussion

Motivation and hunger are significant factors in the NFL and should not be ignored. Teams that get comfortable and believe their press clippings get their butts kicked regularly. I'm taking nothing for granted tomorrow. They're STILL a young inexperienced team overall finding their way...

Only some? Don't make me get my walker to come after you....

Patriots Pregame Thread Week 6: Pats @ Saints

100% effective? Nope, this guy is 109% effective. 12 out of 10 dentists agree. Luckily, all NFL teams are constrained to a team total of 100% so that 9% has to be taken from somewhere else on the roster. I'm hoping kicker so if it's a close game maybe a missed field goal for them can come into...

PostGame Thread OFFICIAL POSTGAME THREAD: Patriots Beat Bills 23-20

Your penance is recitation of four "Our Mosses" and a reading from the Play Book of NEM.

Yep. Other team gets paid too. It's not always "our players suck" - its sometimes "hey, those guys are good".

You'll probably have to wait a bit longer...I think Javon Baker took his wheelchair.

PostGame Thread OFFICIAL Post-game thread: Pats spank Panthers 42-13

The play where he grabbed the ball inches from the turf? Impressive. Kid isn't a #1, but he just makes plays time and again. You need those guys on good teams.

Also means more Williams and Hollins which I'm fine with. Hollins had several great blocks today and caught a TD.

Patriots Pregame Thread Week 4 discussion: Panthers @ Pats

If we get the James White trajectory (many here had the same thoughts on him in his rookie season) no issues whatsoever. It just might take a year or two to get there.

Why isn't Efton Chism III playing?

Also there are guys with a different mind set. They simply dont practice well, but put them on the field of play and whatever it is -- it clicks. Amendola was that way - simply didn't practice well, but clutch? He had that gene is spades.

Patriots Pregame Thread Week 4 discussion: Panthers @ Pats

Sure, but not the point needing correction. He didn't let free rushers in to cause Maye to get sacked. He can't hold on to the ball.

So fumble prone players only fumble on carries, but not after catching passes?????

Game Day Thread OFFICIAL GDT: Steelers visit Patriots 9/21

My ability to despise the Steelers is almost as high as the Jete (comes from living there during the mid-2010s and literally getting kicked out of a dinner party simply for being a Patriots fan among other things). Go Pats.

    How Good Is Our Secondary?

This can be fixed with more repetitions. This is exactly what preseason football used to look like - inconsistency, mistakes, and over-reliance on individual rather than collective skill. How do you get to that hall in NY built by the guy from Pittsburgh by way of Scotland...practice.

Patriots Pregame Thread Week 3 discussion: Pitt @ NE

So are some of ours...last week it was Maye's replacement, now it's Spillane's and Gonzalez'. PatsFans is not immune.

Patriots Pregame Thread Week 3 discussion: Pitt @ NE

What? Acting as a unit and playing a role versus individual one-on-one plays? Can't have that discussion. It's all about individual statistics right? If you're not getting fantasy points then bottom line you suck as a player. SMH. Your post above is exactly right - team approach.

Patriots Pregame Thread Week 3 discussion: Pitt @ NE

The hallmark of a young, new team (staff and players). That's 's the aspect that most gloss over -- inconsistency. It's been evident for the Patriots especially in the units where repetition and consistency are paramount to success - OL, secondary, LBs. The outlier has been the DL which has also...
