    2025 Draft: WRs

None of them really excite me at 38; at least Higgins physically fits a need; but he reads as another guy that is going to have a hard time playing on the line and it doesn't make sense to me to pick him that high.

    2025 Draft: WRs

Without alot of X prototypes in this draft, I'm just not sure who is going to be available at 38 that has the potential to be a plug in day one X....guys with the size, speed, and technique don't hang around long. If one isn't there, I would rather take another position that could be a day 1...

    2025 Draft: WRs

I pretty much stopped reading his profile then I saw that; and then there is the lack of production....in had 3 games in '24 were he was shut out entirely; just over 500 for the season; their top guy had around 1100, but he (Armstrong) isn't a great prospect either....pretty surprising that...

    2025 Draft: WRs

Yeah, any one that far down has issues, he can get off the line, and has world class speed; that alone makes him a threat...if you can work with him to cut the rate in half he could be a weapon....just a swing late. Big chance he never works out, but that is true of all WRs on day 3, at least...

    2025 Draft: WRs

I think Baker very well could end up off the 53, either to the PS or cut. I know fans really want him to work out, but I don't think he has it, and we are better off keeping the vets and the young guys that have actually produced.

    2025 Draft: WRs

For various reasons, based strictly on reading sizes, speeds, and short writeups....these are the 3 I would look at on day 3. Isaiah Neyor Donte Thornton Arian Smith

    2025 Draft: WRs

I'm pretty sure I've said it before, I think we hope for Hunter at #4, or just look at DAY 3 WRs. And specifically guys that have the size/release to play on the line as an X. They have drafted 4 WRs in the last two drafts that I think (another) new coaching staff is going to want to see what...

    Tet McMillan or Tyler Warren

Right, and he was a second round pick that has now shown he can play in the league. We aren't talking about a 2nd round pick, we are talking about #4 overall that hasn't proven he can play in the league. Just being better than our current receivers isn't a good reason to pick a guy at #4...

Can't We Be Competitive This Year?

It shouldn't take the 4th to do that, the obvious choice is Minn due to their lack of picks in this draft (4 I think) and 38 and 69 should get that done.
  10. Headcase

    Tet McMillan or Tyler Warren

But none of that is the point of this thread, simply if you had to take one of the two which do you take. I believe that Warren has a better chance of being a + player than TMac does.
  11. Headcase

    Tet McMillan or Tyler Warren

Just as I would say he has a better chance of that than TMac being Randy Moss, Justin Jefferson, or even Mike Williams.....and because of the constraints of the topic that is the choice you have to make

    2025 Draft: WRs

Did you watch his '23 tape, at the going into '24 he was considered the best WR prospect.
  13. Headcase

    Tet McMillan or Tyler Warren

That is what people tend to think, but I'm not sure it is true (and I know I've read it other places), he looks like an X, but without good/great ability to get off of the line, he likely won't succeed there, his best chance to make it is either as a big slot or a Z. I think if someone picks...

Wolf prefers to go best player available

It might, be it shouldn't be much more than a 3rd: 24 for 38,69 5% in favor of Minn A similar trade from 2022 26,101 for 35,69,163 3% in favor.

Player Signing Patriots Sign WR Stefon Diggs

I'm not super high on the Diggs signing, but you can only pay the guys that want to be here (or that you want to be here)....The best LT re-signed with his team, they weren't apparently in on the other guys for various reasons.

Player Signing Patriots Sign WR Stefon Diggs

This guy doesn't think Baker has it, great off the line, but not fast enough, no separation.

Player Signing Patriots Sign WR Stefon Diggs

At this point in his career Diggs isn't a guy that makes you pass up a blue chip.

Player Signing Patriots Sign WR Stefon Diggs

I'm betting that the 3rd year is a dummy year....no or little guaranteed money that let them dump him. If we get one good year out of him we'll be lucky.
  19. Headcase

Wolf prefers to go best player available

Except for some extraordinary cases even great RBs aren't successful without a good online, I haven't watched alot of Jeanty but low positional value and potential dependance on the OLine wouldn't give me the warm and fuzzys about that pick.
