  1. Snake Eyes

We're on to 2016. Think FA/Trades as in 2007 rather than the #60 Draft choice [sign the beast v 004]

I think he learned his lesson, and I'm sure the Pats will insist on clauses to protect the team in case he does anything stupid and harms himself again.

We're on to 2016. Think FA/Trades as in 2007 rather than the #60 Draft choice [sign the beast v 004]

There's nothing wrong with snagging players that would likely be a good fit for a solid price, I think you may be confusing that with going full by ****** signing a big name for stupid money.

Gronk was WIDE open on the conversion

Yes, Gronk was wide open, so what? TFB made a mistake, it happens, get over it.

#1 Target in the Free Agency [2016 Sign the Beast thread #006]

They can save over 3 million by cutting Cannon, but then again I'd cut Cannon if it saved them a half-eaten Snickers bar and a roll of toilet paper.

#1 Target in the Free Agency [2016 Sign the Beast thread #006]

I wonder how Schwartz would do on the inside. Aside from that may he simply be better than Vollmer right now? Vollmer's on the wrong side of 30 and has been injured quite a bit of late, having another starting caliber Tackle might not be such a bad investment to make.

OL, are the pieces there or is a lot of change up needed?

Canon is the slowest on the line, Von Miller was the worst possible match up for him.
  7. Snake Eyes

Do we upgrade our WRs this offseason?

If you don't think it matters who plays WR I have some beachfront property I think you'll be interested in.
  8. Snake Eyes

Do we upgrade our WRs this offseason?

Unless you're developing a magic potion to prevent Edelman/Gronk/Amendola from getting injured the other receivers on the roster should be better if we plan on winning the SB.
  9. Snake Eyes

Do we upgrade our WRs this offseason?

Tom Brady doesn't make a receivers hands better, routes crisper, nor make him better after the catch. TFB performs better with better receivers to throw to, having better receivers helps us win. This doesn't mean it makes sense to blow huge money to get Calvin Johnson but upgrading the WRs...

Patriots 'part ways' with OL coach Dave DeGuglielmo

Why would you even want him on the team? He's proven that he cannot play the position.

Manning Didn't Necessarily Win Denver The Game, But He Didn't Lose it. Same Can't Be Said For Brady

Getting hit repeatedly is going to screw up the QBs mechanics, it's just the way the body works.
  12. Snake Eyes

23 hits on Brady...most on any QB since 2006

If BB actually does blame the OL do you think he'd publicly say so? He's not the kind who will throw his people under the bus.
  13. Snake Eyes

#1 Target in the Free Agency [2016 Sign the Beast thread #006]

Why? The biggest target should be the players who can have the biggest impact on your team, regardless of whether they're currently on the team or not.
  14. Snake Eyes

23 hits on Brady...most on any QB since 2006

I don't have details of the cap and projected salaries so I couldn't say but I know that there's not much point in having an elite QB if you don't protect him. Elway has managed to put together a very solid team while also paying Peyton and his very competent O-line.

23 hits on Brady...most on any QB since 2006

If all teams have more bodies we don't gain a relative advantage. The main issue is that the players we have aren't that good, having more of them probably won't make much of a difference.
  16. Snake Eyes

23 hits on Brady...most on any QB since 2006

The roster size isn't the issue, if we have more bodies so does the opposition, the problem is we have several O-lineman that shouldn't even be on the roster. BB does NOT sufficiently invest in the Oline.

Game Day Thread ***Official AFCCG Gameday Thread: Patriots v. Broncos

Marcus Cannon is absolutely worthless, why the hell hasn't BB upgraded?

Official Doncos v Steelers game thread

It's because he's the most protected of the league's protected class players.

The Practice Squad And Further Transactions

He's way too tall for a white receiver, we like smurf white receivers, not 6'2 giants.

Reasons to hate the Chiefs...here is one

I rather doubt American WASPs would care at all what an African soccer team did. While we're on the subject, doesn't our team have a bunch of WASPs as our mascot?
