I think 16 games is about all the human body can endure. If they did go to an 18 game season I would drop 2 preseason games , expand the roster, only allow a player to dress for 16 games, and better IR rules. 2 byes and maybe then no one retires at 35 half dead. Never happen however.

I've always privately wondered if the season of rehab with the knee, gave his elbow and shoulder a mid career rest. The QB position is not what it was years ago, and Brady takes amazing, if not fanatical care of himself.

Could be they figure its more probable then not that Bradys camp is generally aware that a ruling may not go in their favor.

I would love for the judge to issue a continuance in the appeal, put the suspension on hold, and order the Nefarious Freaking Liars to use a court appointed service to measure/record the PSI before and after every game. The information would be public, and the appeal resumed after the season.
