    The Handshake

Great catch shmessy. Look at Brady and Belichick's exchange as the thunderous boos are drowning out Goodell. They appear to be getting a good laugh at the reaction (just my interpretation). Maybe BB reached out to Goodell with condolences for both the crowd and the fact the Pats won. FWIW, I...

    The Handshake

Hate to agree but I do agree with your observation. I have not read or seen one media comment about this. Not that they would have received much of an answer, but Bill was pretty chatty during the Monday morning awards and would have thought Reiss might ask him about it.

    The Handshake

I'm sure this has been talked about but I was curious about the conversation that BB and Goodell were having when Kraft was speaking on the stage after having the trophy presented to him. The camera clearly caught the 2 speaking for about 15 seconds.

Felger: 2016 Patriots not an "all-time Pats team", just winning during a "bad year for league"

Personally, I'm more impressed when a team shows it can handle pressure and adversity during a game than an easy blowout. Blowouts don't prepare you for a future tough slugfest. I found the Baltimore and Houston games to be "impressive games". They had complete control and alot of teams' wheels...

He just looked really pissed off to me.

A strictly football strategy discussion about Buffalo

I think the early down run game is key for both teams. If Buffalo plays nickel against the 2 TE, Pats need to be able to run the ball. Buffalo will want to put NE in 3rd and 5+ and then use varying schemes. The comforting thing is even if NE isn't running the ball too well, they really can mix...

OT: What's wrong with this world? Ravens fan clings to life after fight with Raiders fan

I've seen the Patriots in about 8 visiting stadiums over the years and some multiple times (San Diego). When I was younger and more vain, I would feel it was my right to wear my Pats gear to these games and for the most part I was reserved but I would still take some verbal abuse and at the end...

NFL Network should replay NBC Broadcast of Pats-Raiders playoff 12/18/76 in its entirety

This was the day and game I became a Patriots fan. And after watching your clip and reading your post, I want to buckle up my chinstrap....just let me know when you need me coach!!!

Hang in there PB12. I don't pretend to know what you're going through but I can share with you that my wife recently left me and I'm having such a difficult time trying to understand why and the reality is I may never understand. I just try to get through each day and find something in that day...

Bill's fan to blow the whistle on the Patriot's Organization

Speaking of Borges, did anyone catch the glimpses of him during the 5th quarter yesterday while Zolak and Burton(?) were waiting for BB's post gamer? Borges was in the background and although his "hair" never looked natural to me with a face on camera angle, he looked just bizarre in the shots...

Coach Goog and Those Remarkable Rookie OL's

Its obviously still early but the interior OL is the story of the season so far for me. And while I just love the aggressive heavy passing scheme we've had so far, I'm optimistically looking forward to the heavy formation and ground and pound scheme we'll be seeing soon.

Anyone else notice excessive piped-in noise at Buffalo?

I'm hoping this is brought up to Belichick in one of his interviews/press conferences this week and he dismisses it but not before saying something like "We really didn't notice it and even if we had and it affected our execution, it's not something we would make an excuse over"

    David Andrews

Its a pretty remarkable story and I'm glad there is a thread dedicated to him. Imagine 3 rookies starting on the defending champion's Oline. Amazing! Big test this week and there will likely be some bumps but hopefully none too big.

A bit concerned about our D-Line...

This is really the most interesting stat of the night (Grissom with most snaps and at DT) although we know that this came about after Easley went down. It will be interesting to see the groupings next week and I really hope Easley doesn't miss much time.

    Lewis' role when Blount returns

So long as he doesn't have ball security issues, he's going to figure prominently in their offensive scheme. As we have seen over the years, their gameplan is opponent specific so we could see him get anywhere from 10 to 60 plays for a given game. His main value is the diverse skills he brings...
